Online Math Summer Bridge Program

Interested in getting a head start in learning the key concepts of calculus for your STEM major?  

The Online Math Summer Bridge Program offers students a preview of a first semester calculus course, Math 140, and the opportunity to deepen their understanding of important pre-calculus concepts. The primary objectives of this program are to:  

  • expose students to the fundamental concepts of calculus
  • improve student mathematics communication skills-both oral and written
  • boost self-confidence, mathematical abilities and foster critical thinking skills

Eligibility Requirements 

  • Admitted to Penn State Harrisburg for the Fall Semester
  • An interest in a STEM major

Program Features

  • No fees for the program
  • Program runs three weeks, July 29 - August 16, 2024
  • Online learning modules
  • Peer tutoring sessions
  • Interactive groupwork sessions with math faculty
  • Free $100 Voucher from the bookstore upon successfully completing the program
  • Mentor for the academic year 2024-2025
